We will always ensure your personal data is kept from prying eyes.

We only keep the minimum data required to process your order. Below is a no-nonsense explanation of what data we need and how it is used.

All data given is completely at your own discretion. Unfortunately, however, should you refuse to give us the basic information required to process an order you will not be able to make purchases from our online store. We respectfully leave this up to you.

Marketing Emails

We will only send you marketing emails if you have previously signed up for them. This may have been on account setup, to obtain first order discount via our newsletter signup, or by entering any of our competitions.

Should you no longer require these communications then you can unsubscribe in the following ways:

Log in to your account, once logged in to your account click on "Personal Details", remove the tick from the "Subscribe to Newsletter" checkbox and click "Save Changes".

The sharing of your information

We do not sell, trade or rent your personal information to others and never will. The only time we will share your data is if you sign up to our mailing list and opt-in to receive information from other companies in the Ruby Shoo organisation.

Online advertising

Ruby Shoo uses affiliates, pixels and cookies to allow us to engage in online advertising. You may see Ruby Shoo banners, adverts or both when searching other websites. We use the data listed in the above table to control how these elements are presented and used.

Retaining your information

Your information will be kept for as long as there is an active account on our system, or where there is still a need to manage an element of your account after its closure.

Should there also be any legal reason as to why your information needs to be held, we will retain the minimum amount required to complete the process and delete when appropriate.

Your privacy rights

From 25th May 2018 you have greater control of your personal data.

  • The right to request the correction of inaccurate personal information we hold about you. Changes of this nature should in the majority available in the “my account” section of the site.
  • The right to request that we delete your data. Contact us at support@rubyshoo.com and a representative will happily discuss this with you.
  • The right to stop marketing emails. This can be done via the “my account” section of the site or from the unsubscribe link at the bottom of any email from Ruby Shoo.
